We're going to need more data then 'usually' most of us provide combat logs, screenshots, 100v100 tests and precise statistics. Proof is always nice.

Furthermore, slade isn't even a metal. It isn't piercing the skin at all and is literally hammering through (hence it's 'improved' effect against armor)

Regardless, your comparing geese and the moon. Slade is a stone that weighs several tons, and can't be compared to a styrofoam metal, there's to many different variables between the two that could be effecting the tests. You must compare similar materials (ex iron and iron 10x heavier) in order to get an accurate result.

My projectile preferences have always been following the table from the wiki for the Edged (melee) weapons (with the exception for Adamantine's silly and unproven note in the brackets). The only reason for that was that projectiles were Edged too. As I see after your tests, my assumption is mostly correct :)
