Hey guys, I'm trying to recreate the Shambler from Quake 1 in Dwarf Fortress. I've got him mostly sorted out, I'm now just trying to work out the lightning attack. How would I go about making a lightning breath attack? I'm thinking it'd be a matter of making a new material but would the game then include that material in worldgen?

Once liquids are implemented properly, you could set up a mandatory test involving potential military dwarves swim through a sea of blood on their way through the testing.
