I nabbed this as soon as I read it was out.
I'll save on repetition by saying that I agree with all of Haschel's comments. Suffice to say that this game is going to be a bit divisive, comparable to pre-patch S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Precursors, or White Gold.
I've only given it less than an hour so far, and much of that was spent trying to tweak the controls to a more fluid layout as it's fairly unintuitive. The tutorial consists of of a series of videos that the game reminds you to watch whenever you need to do something new, and most are either blindingly obvious or don't really explain themselves too well. The dialogue is atrocious, and the plot so far is utterly impenetrable. But overall my scattered impressions are more positive than critical; here are some reasons I am enjoying it so far:
The maps have a style to them that I find entirely appealing. Wide open spaces, insanely lofted ceilings, and bold contrasts.
Jumping off a small ridge will make you land with a massive thud and cloud of dust, which gives a great reminder to the fact you're wearing heavy armour.
I hacked a raider's brain and, while he was screaming in terror, made him turn and gun down his baffled comrade. Then I fried him.

I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it more when I'm not juggling it with Old World Blues, as it's much too easy to draw unfair comparisons (why can't I loot that corpse? what do you mean I can only carry as much as I could actually carry?).
If you're willing to invest time and money into something that's not particularly slick or intuitive, but will be rewarding in the long term, I'd say E.Y.E. is worth it. And hey, you play DF, right?

Canada has the same same rates as the US on paypal.
Australia actually has the lowest rate: 3.4% + $0.30 USD (for international to australia)

The difference should be minimal.

The usual protocol (for me at least, I've done this 2 times before) is:

One person buys the four pack out of steam
The others pay the split value + paypal fees individually and receive the copy from the one who bought it out steam.

It is, as far as I know, the fair way of doing this. Yes, the one buying the 4pack gets his own copy cheaper than the other 3 who pay the fees, but he also has to deal with either receiving from paypal or using the money in paypal for something else.

Definitely a game that will improve if it picks up a wicked fanbase, like STALKER did. Could use a complete re-translation, rebalancing of audio, interface/control refinement, etc. But interesting none the less.

Yeah, I figured that's how it's handled. I guess I mostly meant that I'm unfamiliar with the Paypal side of things. Can't be that complicated. Anyhow, I'm in.

I hacked a raider's brain and, while he was screaming in terror, made him turn and gun down his baffled comrade. Then I fried him.

This is a pretty great endorsement, if you ask me.

Heh, the first thing it reminded me of was the new Fallouts. Partially because I'm playing New Vegas right now. So it's decent but different? I can deal with that. Rewatching the trailers I'm pretty certain I have to at least try it. Cloaked-dual-katana-wielding action? Shit looks cool. Even if the execution turns out to be mediocre, it should be kinda fun.

I'm most likely buying it tomorrow, since I have nothing to do and I'm highly annoyed by recent events.

So if one of you guys buy the four pack, PM me with your paypal price and lets have fun.

I am in the US and it is entirely possible that I will be able to get the four-pack for everyone who is still interested.  Do we still have three other people interested.

Neyvn, that is fine with me and I wouldn't even ask for 50% extra.  Just as long as you pay at some point.

Logistically, I won't be able to do this until this evening.  Sorry, but I am traveling around 'till then.

It looks like dystopia meets... I dunno, brink or one of the other FPS's.
Interesting.

I am one of the most honest people you'll ever meet........ but now that I think about it, a dishonest person says they are honest. So therefore I am the most Dishonest person you'll ever meet, because someone who says they can not be trusted outright are the ones to trust the most...

Or is that one of those, "If I tell you I always lie, would you believe me?" Things... Regardless, Its Sunday now, I get my pay Wednesday morning at this time (2am Sunday, therefore 3days to 2am Wednesday)

I have 3     2      0 copies available. PM me for immediate download codes. We'll figure out payments as needed.

Would like to point out the game is 5 gigs, for those of you with slow connections or space concerns.

EDIT: All copies gone, sorry. There is still the Steamgifts thread until 9pm EST.

It really takes about an hour to get things rolling and used to the UI and controls.

Man... I missed the copies...

:(

Anyone else gonna split four copies? Otherwise I guess I will just get the full one copy price.
