Yes, the next comic is sick and unfunny, but this thread was about the Dwarf Fortress one.  I would lose a lot of respect for Toady if he deleted a thread over it.
Now, if we were to derail the thread by talking about the content of the next comic, it might make sense to delete.  But that hasn't quite happened yet.

I'd argue that this comic is pretty sick. I think it's pretty fair to say that this is worse than a thread about butchering kittens. And not just because the latter is so commonplace.

The other comic is sick, but I was talking about the comic about dwarf fortress. I didn't like the portrayal of a DF player as someone that could kill all people in his ofice.

Oh most of you guys torture the ever living hell out of things in Dwarf Fortress.

Finding humor in things like this isn't sick. It's absurdity humor. For one thing it's also a comic, and all fake. Now I could argue over how maybe he's actually commenting on how fucked up society is, which is pretty legit, but I'm pretty sure it's just absurdity/shock humor, like Electric Retard.

That's just so ridiculous it's pretty damn obvious all of this isn't supposed to be taken "seriously" and that he doesn't have some sick mind or something. You guys are basically giving off the same mindset that made George Carlin famous. People like humor that crosses boundaries, and you guys should not be flipping out over it, rather if you don't like it, then don't look at it. You really shouldn't even say this is bad if you like cyanide and happiness as well, because it's on the same level and mentality. Stuff like this is also made because they know people like you are going to freak out over how this is sick and whatnot, that is the point. That is also why it's funny because it's rather silly and childish to have problems with an issue like this. It's the equivalent of showing GG Allin to the PMRC, and then dying of laughter as you watch them freak out and be horrified.

People find things funny just as they find fetishes sexy, you really shouldn't be knocking people for it.

I personally thought the comic in particular, and the site itself is pretty funny. The actions of the main character perfectly describe the obsession with torture in Dwarf Fortress.

In my country games were amost forbidden for a similar real episode (the criminal was a gamer - that doesn't make the games responsible for his actions). It is hard to find something like this funny. If I mass murder kittens in DF it doesn't mean I would do the same in real life.
