The only time I ever beat LCS was in easy mode. In that game I mainly used one liberal (my leader) who caused tons of liberal havoc. He always worked alone until the day that he kidnapped a young flaming rabbit, the rabbit became his apprentice and for the next few days they stole information and money from the corrupt, until a mission went wrong and she was hospitalized. After making all of his safehouses unsafe, he had to return to the main liberal HQ (He usually didn't go there because he would cause to much heat), he waited there for a bit and then mercenaries (or soldiers) raided the compound, all of the hippies were killed, and after outrunning most of th conservatives, my leader was shot in the back, forcing him to surrender. Being so close to winning I was sorely disappointed at the ruling of his trial... death. Thinking all was lost, I was surprised to find that the flaming rabbit had the courage to lead after being hospitalized for two months. With only amonth until he would be executed, the young rabbit honed her skills, and 2 weeks before he was going to be executed she freed him. Over the next months they liberalized America.

Anybody else have LCS stories they want to share? Perhaps stories about your first win.

My first win was in v3.09. It consisted of two months of beating up people to train dodge and unarmed combat, and three years of killing people with said skills.

My first win spanned many years. It was 2068 when I won. My leader was a complete badass. He would take down entire sieges ONLY USING A KNIFE AND ONLY WEARING A SUIT. He and his small squad eventually got sieged too many times for him to be able to hold them off, so he escaped and amassed a LIBERAL VIOLENT ARMY MASS OF FREE THINKERS! He repelled siege after siege after siege until he eventually had enough ammo and armour to conquer several large countries (no shit). Soon, the CIA came and raided the safehouse. He fought them off with strength and courage but died from old age the next day. 2 thirds of the LCS disbanded and went back to their normal lives. However, the two people he decided to train while stayed and both became leaders. Some of their recruits stayed and with less than 12 people, they crushed the conservative machine. One of the leaders died, sadly. I'm pretty sure it was the lesser skilled one.

I came close to winning, most laws were on the verge of Liberal when the primary safehouse was raided right before we moved again. My guys fought hard, but eventually one of the leaders took a bullet between the eyes and most of the LCS disbanded, leaving a backup leader and a few others who couldn't amass enough liberals to overthrow the conservatives.

I think my first victory was a guitar squad. For historical reference, back then the strategy of playing guitar and gaining sleepers was overpowered.

My first victory ever was a ninja run on normal mode with CCS off.  My lead guy was named The Ninja and my slogan was, "Fear the blade."  I got a sword and cut apart conservatives in the public areas, and I rescued some guys with tailoring skill, and they made me a ninja suit.  I didn't have many people, only 5 or six at most, with most of them just earning extra cash for me.  My ninja got very skilled in sword combat, dodging, and especially stealth.  He could sneak past guard dogs and security guards in his sleep.  I used my awesome ninja skills to kill someone in every conservative building, like the police station, the labs, and the court house, and also a lot of the outskirts buildings.  After each assassination, I would do community service, which completely negated any heat buildup.  Eventually, my constant murdering made the public love me, and the war of Liberals vs. Conservatives altered its course when a liberal president was elected.  After passing around two elite liberal amendments, I eventually got all the laws to green. 

So the lesson here, kiddies, is that when peaceful activism fails, murder and assassination always succeed.
