(Warning - while you were reading 4 new replies have been posted. You may wish to review your post. , sheesh )

My main action will be to persue Monk, after realizing he so impolitely didn't wait for my audience appreciation. As a minor action, I would like to snatch up the sword hilt.

Also, oocly, I'd like to request a status type thing someplace, not sure where items are, who has what, how the hp of everyone stands. etc.

Pull the rope off of me, and run south.

There is only north, west, and east, I believe.

Round 1 - Turn Four

Finn
Shaking off the stun, you pick up the metallic tube from the ground^. [3] Looking at the tube and the prod, you wrap the tube around the prod. However, the electrical part and the tube is not yet connected, and thus the tube is just extra weight right now.*

Monk
You take the rifle-barrel from the ground^. [5] Then, jamming the barrel under the grate, you flip it out easily, and it lands on the ground next to you*. However, you have no actions to pick the grate up!

Hikari
[6] You easily pull the rope from your neck and drop it.* Then, glancing side to side, you run to the east!^ WARNING! Your shadow-armor will fizzle out next turn.

Altveria
You scuttle over to the head of the shovel, your rope wrapped around your right arm, and pick it up^. [1] Attempting to wrap the rope around the shovel, you accidentally cut your rope in two! Darn! You now have two small coils of rope.

Larry
Grabbing the sword-hilt up quickly^, you then turn towards the west and run after Monk. WARNING! Your holy aura will fizzle out next turn!

---
Alright, gonna try to compile a list of general things.
---
GENERAL STATUS!

Urist
Inventory: Titanium Spear (+2 to attack)
Health: Fine
Bonus: None

Altveria
Inventory: Two short coils of rope. Shovel head.
Health: Fine
Bonus: None

Finn
Inventory: Cattle prod wrapped with metal tube. (+1 to attack)
Health: Fine
Bonus: None

Hikari
Inventory: None
Health: 1/6 Minor strike.
Bonus: +3 to dodge/defense, +3 to attack, will fizzle out turn 5.

Larry
Inventory: Blessed whip (+2 to attack). Sword hilt.
Health: 2/6 Minor strikes.
Bonus: +3 to attack. +2 dodge/defense

Monk
Inventory: Machete (+1 to attack). Rifle barrel.
Health: 1/3 Major strike.
Bonus: None

Do you guys think weapons/armor should give bonus's to attack/defense or just make your successful rolls... better? So that you can only get bonus's from magic/additional items?

Main hub: Nails, motor-like thing, wyvern scale propeller, a pair of manacles, two steel chains, pipe.
To the west: Grate, pit of lava, hole in the ceiling.

Attempt to avoid everyone else as I try to create something from a small piece of rope and the shovel head!

This'll be my last post for tonight.

Alright, whip-to-legs, basically a wide sweep, attempting to knock him into the Lava. How dare he leave while I was taking a bow. Minor action is a quick search.

Grab Larry's whip and pull him into the lava

I predict we both end up in the lava.

Round 1 - Turn Five

Finn
[5] Inching the tube up around the cattle prod a little more, you then lift it up and wrap it as tightly as you can around the shock part*. With a dangerous-sounding crackle of energy, some current transfers from the electrified part to the tube, sending out a few sparks. You watch as even more current goes into the tube, until a continuous electrical current is racing around the tube. You lift it above your head in triumph. You now have an Amplified Cattle Prod! [2] Then, taking a quick look around to find someone to hit, you see nothing but a few small metal balls.^

Altveria
[4] You stare at the shovel head and one coil of rope that you have, and then attempt to tie the rope around the shovel head again*. This time, however, you don't cut the rope accidentally, and you make yourself a... Shovel Whip!

Larry
[6] Sprinting forward towards Monk, you raise your whip above your head and flick it at Monk's legs*! [6] Monk launches off the ground into a gravity-defying back-flip, and when he lands he stamps his feet on your whip, anchoring it to where it is! [4] Using this moment of uncertainty, you take a quick glance around the room^ and notice a metal bracket on the wall, filled with several long, but narrow sticks, a 45 degree angled chute in the north wall, a metal vial, and several leaves and herbs of some sort. Your searching is interrupted as your Holy Aura suddenly pops, and just disappears! At least you still have your holy whip...

Monk
[1] Attempting to reach down and take hold of Larry's whip*, which you are already standing on to hold it down, you forget to take your feet off it, and as you pull the whip you end up pulling yourself off your feet! You stumble to the ground and roll RIGHT next to the lava pit! It will be pretty hard to avoid not getting knocked into the lava now, if someone chose to! (-1 to not getting knocked into the lava rolls)

Hikari
You crouch down in a corner of the eastern room to catch your breath^, as your shadow armor dissipates around you. [2] Then, taking a moment to glance around, examining and searching every corner of the room*, you notice nothing but a red rope hanging from the ceiling.

Urist
You suddenly open your eyes and fall to the ground as you come out of your stasis. You breathe deeply of the air, lift your spear up, and look around for a target to ATTACK^! [2] You see no one to attack, but you do see two men in the room, one with a shovel head tied to a coil of rope, another to what looks like a cattle-prod wrapped with a metal tube.

Guys, I'm still not sure what to do with the weapon/armor bonus thing, so yeah, opinions.

I believe that it would be easier to save actual combat bonuses for much more powerful weaponry, and give extraneous bonuses to low level weapons, like say "+1 to minor search rolls every two turns".

EDIT: Oh yeah, my action. Attempt to appeal to the audience!

So, for example, Larry's holy whip would give me a +2 bonus to a minor search every other turn? Or perhaps give a +1 bonus to attack rolls if the attacker rolls a 5 or a 6 and the defender rolls a 1 or a 2, so the total attack roll would come out to 6 or 7. And for armor it would give a +1 to a defense roll if the attacker rolls a 1 or a 2 and the defender rolls a 5 or a 6? The same idea.

That's up to you. It would have been easier on you if you had included a simple stat/attribute system, because as it stands the two primary bonus targets seem to be actions and situations.

It might actually be a good idea to include that. Four attributes, Strength, Agility, Perception, Charisma. All default at 4. Strength affects attack rolls, agility affects dodge/defense rolls, perception affects search rolls, charisma affects audience/pray rolls. You receive a +1 to that action every two points of attribute, so 6 strength would lend you a +1 to attack rolls. In between rounds you may TRAIN ONE attribute, so you could train strength up to 5. Some bonus's, spells, potions, etcetera increase your attributes... yes, yes. I shall PUT THIS IN, AND IT WILL WORK. With your guys consent, of course.

But that still leaves the problem of what weapons/armor actually does.
