8. does it have dwarfs in it? - No
9. Is it a simulation type game?  - No
10. Is it a strategy game? - No
11. Is it a 2d sider scroller? - YES!
12. Did it come out within the past 3 years? - No
13. is it a console game? - Yes
14. Is the goal to rescue/win/retrieve an item/person? - No
15. Is it a PS1 Game? - No
16. Is it made by a well known company? - Yes (good thinking!)
17. Is it a very old game? (before, say, gamecube came out) - Deffinitly yes (no scramble required)

EDIT: I think question 14 does a lot more work than I at first realized. But in order to benefit you really need to know the game well enough, have played it.
