[Dwarven WMD]

At some point I could swear that you could reassign your chain of command. However, when I tried to do this by going to "Review Assets and Assign Liberals" and going to "Promote Liberals", I can't do anything. Letters don't do anything at all and I know there are people who can take people under their command. I've had a forgetful spell as of late, so I might just have forgotten how it works or something, or something was changed. Am I missing something here on how to arrange my chain of command?

Edit: The last time I played I had version 4.03 or so.

Nothing's changed, but remember, you can only promote directly up the chain. It'd be cool if you can rearrange at will, and each person had a more robust long-term list of everyone they know and what they can rat out about them, rather than just "my immediate superior right now".

I always assumed that people in LCS only know their direct superior by name. They can't rat out anyone except their direct superior. If you think it like this, it makes sense that you can only promote people - you can tell someone about a new guy at the top, but you can't make him/her forget it later on at whim!
