Still looking for a 4th? I haven't read the rules yet, but I'm interested.

Don't expect a bonsai tree to grow the miniature planting it.
Trust your calculator. It's something to count on.
Pencils could be made with erasers at both ends, but what would be the point?

First off, The starting techs are in a spoiler and we get all of the apart from the ones underneath perk package, in wich you choose 2 levels worth of techs from there.

And you have to claim a planet too.

What Taricus said.

Also, if it seems unclear, the Engine is not needed to make a ship move, it only makes it travel further in a turn. Also, hull speed does not stack, and as strange as it is, several "fast" hulls will be negated instantly by a single "slow" hull, such as:

'Blitz' Scout: 50hp, 500 speed, 30000 r
-5xSuper Sleek Hull MK-5 lvl 5: 5hp, 5000 speed, 5000 r
-Plated Armor Hull MK-5 lvl 5: 25hp, 25 armor, 500 speed, 5000 r

but because this is an example it is subject to change.

ok, so the tech thing I think I understand now. But I'm still unsure about where to put my planet. Are the three planetary systems the only ones we can choose from? Meaning I have to start within short distance from another player? Or can I try and pick something else from the main map and get a 4th planetary map? And if so, I don't know what a good planet on the big map is, or how I tell you that's the one I want...

From the beginning I was thinking of putting everyone in the same system, but as I did want the players to feel some freedom I chose three. While I could whip one up now you might not get as lucky.

Do you wish to continue? Y/N

Y: Pick any of the stars with a green ring and give me a number between 1 and 20.
N: Pick any of the free planets.

Let's pick the one on the far right with the green ring.

Random d20 says 9.

SHADOWdump, just noticed that your Colony Pod and Gasman would require a total of 6600r + 4400r = 11000r. Do you wish to change the Gasman to a 1hp/2hp and 1dmg/0dmg or something else?

Doh... my math is flawed.

Maybe I'm used to the 1000 resources per turn of my game and the fact you can get away with spending the resources you get on a given turn immediately.

Scratch the gasman entirely, I'll build him later.
