I got some Bad news. Horses are immune to fire. I lit a town on fire, got killed by a hammerman, anyway horses just wandered through the flames for 2 days, nothing happening to them.

They are made of iron? they were just stray horses I think. Wow... well glad to help... it was sad, killed everyone else in that town, but damn horses still walking around.

Still; Iron Horses. That's pretty awesome when you think about it. Wait: ALL Horses are Iron? So those foals I had... and they GREW... then they had KIDS- How is this possible!?

nah, surface fires don't melt metal stuff. thats why I set the fire, to build up the stores of free loose training weapons.
