Also, you should know thatkid, our group has won both of the prior two challenges as well. It's sort of tradition for the PC's to be given that advantage, even if they didn't need it this time around. Hope you are just tired, and not too pissed with things.

Well... no. They didn't win the second challenge. No one did. And... if it weren't for the Pokeblocks, you would have lost.

Either way, Weird, I'm going to officially request a Dustox catching rp for me before we start up next session and Mex steamrolls us into the next day. During the night, Haika will go out, back to the place he first found the Dustox and try to convince them to join him, and offer berries as needed.

I'll take your word for this, but from my perspective we skipped a round where Lily inexplicably jumped ahead to first place. Then Mex's voltage was rolled twice in Lily's favor.

If I'm pissed about anything, it's the fact that any time we're presented with any sort of challenge we're bailed out of it. The retcon of the pokeblocks and the "You should focus on Mex this round!" comment being the prime example from last night, with Rock's killing of the Snorunt being an example from my first session with you guys.
I fully expect that should anyone challenge us to a battle, or should we challenge anyone, we'll be forced to decline somehow.

I'm also more than a little annoyed that Dwarmin is pissed that I ended up taking part in the challenge when I stated both OOC and IN CHARACTER that I was only going to take part in the contest if nobody else was going to do it. I only took part in the battle because I joined a pokemon game with the expectation of taking part in pokemon battles, and I was going to be damned if I went another session just sitting there watching people do stuff. I am pissed that you bailed out after the first round, essentially forcing me to take part in something that I couldn't have cared less about IC or OOC.

The RP is fun but as soon as we begin to do anything it's just...I don't know. I'm debating whether or not I even want to continue with this. In any case you shouldn't expect me to be available for a friday session; I'm usually busy on Friday nights anyways.

Yeah, getting the crap beat out of me in yet another battle I couldn not win, while Weirdsound was throughly enjoying RP humilitating me was tons of fun. In fact, I could probably describe my entire experience with this game in those words...lol!

You accepted the match. Thus, my assumption you wanted to do the contest...you apparently wanted it, and you got it bro.

But, I'm probably not as close to thatkid to jumping ship, though. It's not like I have anything else to do on Wednesday nights. And I *am* having fun-between getting stomped and humiliated, anyway.

Well, that already pretty much happened. It's against the rules to battle any of the other teams' trainers, and there are no other trainers.

Frankly, I've been kind of disappointed as well the past few sessions. I don't think we've had any combat for three sessions. I can go for RP when it's called for, but if I wanted to join a game where it's all about talking to people while following an arcane set of rules... well, I wouldn't want to. I was looking forward to the mentioned 'battle practice', but when I suggested it in the game, we ended up being trapped in a box and forced to RP for several hours. I want to enjoy this campaign, and it gives me something to do, but this is really frustrating.

I figure it might be a bit frustrating to the GM's, since I remember not too long ago, we were berating them for having Pokemon attack us for no reason. I was personally just annoyed if they spawned them on top of our characters before we had a chance to react, is all.
