Starter chosen randomly?  :( I wanted a Ralts. Can it at least be one of the possibilities? :D

Making the character, still undecided about the sex though. Do you guys have issue with crossplaying? Not that the character acts any different or does anything creepy, but I understands that some persons have (understandable, considering the stories I have heard) issues about crossplaying, period.

Basic bio: Felius/Lya was always a bit different than other children. He/She developed a uncommonly strong sense of empathy from an early age (not that it's hard to do. Children are in general little, cute sociopaths after all). This difference from other children have not stopped he/she from making friends, both with humans and Pokemon. In fact, he/she have been always more friendly than the usual with both of them. Now, having been hit with wanderlust, he/she decided to set out and make his/her own.

(and sorry about all the he/she, I know it's kinda annoying)

Ninjas: DAMN NINJAS! =p Can I be on the waiting list/alternative session?

If you do get in to the waiting list/alternative session (Weird hasn't said a word about them), it's fine to crossplay.

If you treat it as extension of your own self, instead of playing it for cheap jokes, it can make for interesting role playing experience. I have no problem with it...because I tend to do it myself.

For ex, most of male characters are flawed, yet noble-my female characters tend to be outgoing, hopeful and independent. It's sort of fun to cross over, now and again. :)

I have no problems with crossplay on occasion. However, this being the first time I'm playing with this group. I'd rather go with my own gender just to make it easier.

As to the starter thing. I suppose it's better than having everyone randomly pick their favorites. Giving out starters based on GM questionare  puts us on a more level playing field.

I don't see why. As long as all favorites are around the same powerlevel (no, no starting with a baby kyogre!  :P), I don't see why it would be a problem people picking.

Submit a character anyways. If you show up to the first session, and somebody who is in dosn't, you may get in.

Also, if enough people show up we might start a second group.
