thanks for the offer. but ill be testing this out sinze crazy was kind enought to make it.

still got to get a fortress up to a level high enought to attract them.

Next time you might want to use a tool to embark with many military dwarves, and have the siegers attack right away. Just for testing purposes. Still, good luck!

EVERY rock is deadly? Yeesh.

It isn't that bad it just requires a different approach. 3/4 of the stone layers are deadly and 1/4 is undiggable. Ores and Soil are perfectly safe to dig into.  In order to find a vein just dig down stairs on the bottommost layer of soil until you strike a vein, then carry on from there. You can easily reach the caverns with a little time, but hey that's a whole 'nother Fun.

However I will admit that it isn't what Karakzon is looking for in this post. Corrosion is as unforgiving as it gets, and is extremely different then vanilla.

i have tried the defence mod mind, beak wolves annoy me. legendary in addy armour walks out, gets mauled to death or servearly crippled in just 1 strike, wtf? rest of the races are fine mind. But i would prefer a single race of something evil, since thats allows actual breathing space so you can collect your injured etc.

You can select which civilizations lay siege to your fortress in Fortress Defense by using only the entity files of the civs you want to fight. For example, if you only want to fight tigermen and blendecs, copy the creature_fortressdefense file and the other files except the general entity file into the raws, and then from the individual entity folder, copy the files of the tigermen and blendecs into the raws as well.

may i ask the way to reduce the invasion conditions?
ive got a test fort at year 3/4 thats been shelling out gold crafts and is at a barony but still havent seen hide nor hair of deamons.

never mind ^^ just tested the deamons out in adventurer mode -went wandering round as one-
their sufficiently deadly for a good succesion game foe. Ill be making it tomorrow since its too late for ne tonight
hope you dont mind crazy, i edited the file a little for them to breed and to seige based on population at the same time as goblins. -since in a succesion game their is little chance of realy high population unless every single oversear is carefull and consistant.
