If we fall asleep, we might be attacked, and that will NOT end well.
Let's wait until the monster leaves us alone, THEN we can rest and look for Carver in the morning (or night-time, since it appears our sleep-schedule is horrible).

If Carver is dead, then maybe we can patch him up like he patched us up. If he's alive... well... then we need to figure out why the hell he just up and left.

But first, GO AWAY MONSTER.

Okay, let me clear one thing up for you guys so we don't have any misunderstandings in the future.

The player will NEVER be able to resurrect the dead.

Repairing organs? Restarting a freshly-stopped heart? Clearing the lungs of those who drowned but haven't had time to die? All good. Anything that has fully, completely died? They stay dead. People have tried to use healing Powers to bring back dead people, but there's something... missing. Even if the body is restored to perfect working condition, the heart's beating, the brain's sending electrical signals. Nothing happens. They're like warm, breathing corpses. There has never been, in the 2200-year history of Power usage, a Power that can bring people back from the dead.

It can't be done.

Furthermore, I'm bookmarking this post just to link people back to it in the future when they inevitably try and bring someone back.

Well then...

That was a rather blunt-force-trauma way of saying "NO".

I wasn't really sure how Carver got us back together, especially since we have no memories, so I assumed we died or nearly died of bloodloss and he fixed us up. Thanks for clearing that up, though.

Alright, so if Carver is DEAD, then we try and... salvage something. Like his clothes. Does he have better clothes than us? Then again, if he's dead, probably not anymore... He's probably got some vials and alchemic stuff on him though.
If he's not yet dead but in really bad shape, THEN we can try to patch him up like he did us to return the favor.

Much. However, we won't be able to patch him up using alchemy. Not only could we not rebuild flesh at our current skill level, but you can't just cobble together a limb or an organ with alchemy and expect it to work by itself.

Hmm. If we have the PP, we could try and lift up a section of the floor, put breating holes in it and sleep under it.

Ooooh, I like this. As nice as it it would be to learn about magic-super-moves with alchemy, I doubt we'll have much luck in that direction. I want to know about our history! Maybe dream about the night we were attacked or our family back where we're from.
