>Use alchemy to harden the bones and shape them into a spear.
>yes, fill all the bubbles in a bone with more bone and shape one extremity pointy by removing a little bone around it.
>Use alchemy to create a complex slingshot out of the base proteins making up the bone. The bone itself hould be hardened into nanotubes while the rest of it should be formed into extremely tough, but stretchy muscle. form all leftovers into spiked projectiles, and use a small amount of proteins in the bone marrow to create poison.

You just woke up from having your arms torn off and rebuilt, and you have only just learned that alchemy even exists. You doubt you can do much more than simple element manipulation for  now.

((Protip: You can't. Manipulating compounds without breaking them down is far more difficult than elemental manipulation, purely because the bonds have to be kept together. It just can't be done until about Lv.5 Solid Alchemy. Not to mention that you only know the elements and some basic compounds - poison and stuff is far, far beyond your capabilities until you do some research int the field.))

Alright then, take everything in the field and break them down into base elements, then store them in our *insert elemental storage device here*

Also, are the elements going to be the fantastical elements, or scientific, periodic table elements?
Also, how do we store elements tht are gasses and stuff? Wouldn't they be unpurified instantly by the air?

Just pick up a bone to use as a bludgeon then, and practice breaking things into their core components.

The Boneyard is a roughly circular area of desert and skeletons approximately 6km in diameter. Not only would you run out of PP long before you got even close to collecting everything, but you have five 50ml flasks in which to store elements, two of which are already half full. You do, however, fill up your Silicon and Oxygen flasks from the sand, and collect 50ml of Iron too.

You grab a sufficiently heavy-looking bone to smack things with, and spend a while breaking bones, both physically and alchemically.

Attempt to use the iron and sand to make pretty glass beads to sell.
You attempt to make glass out of sand and iron. You fail miserably. At your current level of alchemical expertise, all you can do with compounds is break them. You need Lv.2 Alchemy in the appropriate field to make compounds.

practice combining some iron and silicon.
see if we can put elements back together.
You attempt to do both of these. You end up with a lump of something halfway between iron and silicon. Probably because you can't make compounds yet, so you just mixed the two elements together with no knowledge of bonding.

You mess around for a while, though you feel very tired.

Eventually you return inside to talk to Carver. He smirks as you stumble in. "Tired, kid? 's what happens when you use Powers too much."

You sit down on the blanket that's still lying on the floor. "Can I ask you a few things?"

"Sure. What do you want to know?"

>Alchemy

"What exactly is alchemy?"

Carver blinks. "Thought I told you that already. You break down things into their chemical elements-"

"No, I mean, how can you use it? I don't remember seeing it before."

"...kid, you don't even remember your own name."

"Point taken. But still, alchemy doesn't exactly seem like something everyone can use."

Carver sighs. "Yeah, you're right there. We're the only people on the planet who can use alchemy, as far as I know."

"So how'd you learn it?"

"Hell, I don't know. I just woke up one day and disintegrated my bedside table."

You have a feeling you're not going to get much more out of this.

>Surroundings

"So where exactly are we?"

"This is the Boneyard. On the edge of the Jayo Desert. Really, there's not much to say about it other than that it's full of bones and Hunters."

>Hunters

"So are Hunters common?"

Carver scratches his head. "Sort of. They don't usually come out onto travel routes and such, but in the wilds they're pretty much everywhere."

"I assume this place isn't very well-travelled, then."

"Got that right. Haven't seen another human in about seven years."

"Why are you out here, anyway?"

Carver flinches. He looks very uncomfortable all of a sudden.

...

"You look pretty tired. Feel free to take a nap if you want, it'll do you good."

You do feel very tired. Maybe a nap will help.

>Sleep.

Sleep is good.

While we're OOC/sleeping, it may be a good idea to define our appearance.

What are you talking about? It's there, and it never wasn't there, and I find the assumption that it was at some point not there to be rather ridiculous.

Obviously since we spent so much time breaking down random things, we used some of the broken elements on the ground! Why use such precious materials?

(Seriously, don't make us lose our precious materials)
