Our history records that once a group of Deler Thun's most industrious dwarves left the Mountainhome to found a new fortress in the south. The cartographers had located a beautiful mountain adorned by a volcano crater. The Singed Tomb departed with sizeable stacks of food, drinks and equipment, and promised to send the most wonderful crafts once the fortress was established.
In time, the first caravans returned from the place, their pack animals loaded with goods made of stone, metal and rare gems. And the name Shakespear became known throughout all of the dwarven civilization. The dwarves wrenched Earth's treasures from her rocky body, and bravely dug towards her magma-pumping heart. The fortress grew, and soon one could listen to whispers about its treasures. Migrants went in hordes towards the south, and those lucky enough to arrive at the place were amazed by its dimensions.
Of course, the goblins learned of the fortress. They could not resist the rumors and sent many expeditions to kill the dwarves of Shakespear and plunder its halls. But the staunch guardians of that place were able to resist any force the goblins threw at them, and many a captured goblin found himself executed, or worse, imprisoned deep below the earth.
And still, the grand fortress stands in the South. And hidden away under miles of solid rock are still the remains of Shakespear's founders.
This is their story.

So, after doing advanced worldgen like a boss, I found a really nice and Fun place to settle. I was very generous with ores and stuffs, but also very generous with TEH EBIL. Should be interesting. Tileset is Ironhand.
The game version is .35.25, vanilla apart from a few minor mods (mostly just fixing the bugs like exotic pets being untameable). Nothing that touches the balance in any way.
