Hello there. Like my other game, For Glory and Adamantine, this will be a fortress story based on writing an epic story. The difference is that I'm going to work a lot harder. Members of the community are invited to request particular dwarves and do side journal pieces/art/whatever else. Also, from time to time, I might ask for opinions on what direction I should take.

I am going to be the mason/mechanic of the first seven. Here are the archetypes I'm looking for for the other six:

Two miners
A craftsdwarf
A doctor or trader
A woodworker
A farmer

If you want in, respond with the name and skill set you want.

Details about the embark will be posted shortly.

Is there any chance I could be the Farmer, who focuses on beekeeping for Mead and milking animals and making Cheese? The reason for the slightly broad skill set is because each of the jobs aren't quite full time.  Beekeeping requires the beehives to mature, while the animals to be milked can only be milked every so often.  If you want, he can also do some plant gathering on the side until the beekeeping industry is set up, so we won't be low on food or alcohol. 

Plus, this is a rather odd-skill choice, so it might make a slightly more interesting story than "The farmer guy".  :D
