Mining is a Martial Form for Dorfs. Woodcutting isnt a martial form.

Because the Dorfs, when they haul something, aren't actually doing any physical lifting--the built-up stench of layers upon layers of blood, booze, vomit, and ichor is so repulsive that it actually generates a repulsive force, thus moving the object.

Because the previous model was designed with the 2D version in mind, while this one has to emulate supports in three dimensions. I think making it more realistic is a low priority (and you can't say it's not fun to build an entire city on top of a single bar of soap).

Animal men hate dwarfs because dwarfs often dig up their burrows, steal their caverns, and flood the world with magma. For the only reason of "being more dorfy than the last fortress." This leads to a large number of sad, homeless, angry animal men who want revenge. Especially the Batmen.

Why do Dwarfs only make weapons out of iron, steel, copper, bronze, wood, obsidian and silver. When other metals and materials could be used for the same purpose much more effectively?
