Alcohol is the driver of complete catabolic breakdown of ingested food. Without alcohol, dwarves slowly become more and more lethargic due to inefficent metabolism of food.

As soon as the pick slides in, it cools the wall and the pick is instantly trapped.

Kobolds and others can avoid traps, but they don't path around them. Why are wagons the only creatures able to detect traps, and unable to move over them?
