Burial recepticles are air-tight, preserving and mummifying the corpse within. In addition they are lined with hempen cloth to wick the smell up.

Some reactions require that their ingredients be in, or not be in, containers. Liquid booze is only usable in fort mode reactions from within containers, but !!booze!! cannot be contained.

Why is zinc even in the game? Sphalerite is so much more useful raw.
