It takes a lot longer when you just have one adventurer digging away on adventure mode timescales.

Why does it feel so appropriate to find an abandoned hamlet with a pitchblende keep?

Why can't dwarves make paper?

Because it's made of outside plants AND is not booze or a bed, and therefore is dangerously elf-like.

They got stone to engrave on. Why would they make paper ?

beacause dwarf will imbued weapons prevent cut off stuff to regrow, exspecially if those dwarfs dont beliefe in regrowing limbs. and because necromancers cant reattach theor dead body parts to turn themselve in undead killing machines except the head, that would be totally idiotic ;)

why have cave dragons wings, and cant use them, but normal dragons dont have any?

They derive from a common ancestor that had wings. Above-ground dragons dragons evolved fire-breathing after the split, at which point having wings became an evolutionary disadvantage. See, because the wings they had previously had were membranous instead of scaled, they were vulnerable to fire damage and subsequent infection & death. So the first wingless dragon had a strong selective advantage, and all living dragons are descended from her.

Cave dragons didn't develop fire-breathing, but they were also in an underground environment, where a creature of their bulk didn't have room to fly. So, wings were not a preserved trait, but they weren't selected against, either. Thus, their current vestigial state. Ironically, because the wings don't need to be flight-worthy, they, too, now lack the membranous surface that was a selective disadvantage for above-ground dragons, and so they are now also completely dragonfire-proof.

Why was the ancestor of firebreathing dragons dragonfire-proof?

Because then they'd have to shoot enemies, which means they'd use up ammo, which means they'd have to go fetch more. They'd rather be out drinking.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.
