Be put to work as a glassmaker with a magma glass furnace with unprotected access to the magma sea. Then get noscoped by a magma crab in the head.

What would Urist do if they had a pet magma crab?

Why can't magma crabs be used as makeshift handheld ballistic weapons?

Religious sects don't exist because it almost seems like everyone inside if a race already follows an extremely polytheistic religion and just choose whatever god(s) they prefer to worship, unless that counts as creating sects. Also there are mercenaries, who else do you think guards the caravans?, and there are sudo-knights (is that the right word? Sudo?) IIRC relatives of royals become consorts which IIRC is like a knight but then again I could be horribly off

Why is gold considered so valuable in-game, when it's just about the most abundant metal and can't even be used for weapons or armour?
