Has anyone made anything out of wagon wood before?

I realise i slab'd one not long ago, just in case a ghost wagon came to haunt me, but did my carpenter actually go and make a cage out of it's "corpse"?

Oh, yes. I even once had an artifact wagon wood statue (pretty sure it was a statue, anyway - I remember it was a furniture item that normally cannot be made out of wood, and I then built it in one of the central hallways to try to increase morale a bit)... It's been a while, so I don't remember the details exactly, but that fort had a traffic issue that tended to result in a fair number of merchant wagons getting scuttled, and since wagon wood doesn't match any stockpile profiles, it just sat there, where it happened to be among the closest logs to the workshop a moody dorf chose (I forget whether it was a carpenter's or a crafts shop, though - most likely carpenters, since it ended up being a furniture item)...

They went crazy. Part of the effects of this is that you can control them like robots, and the other part is that they don't need to drink alcohol anymore.
