The main reason why im glad Captain America came out, is because now they can make the Avengers Movie. Fuck yeah!

Neonivek, you DO realize that even Shakespeares Tragedies, where everyone dies, had plenty of comedy in them, right?

Its nothing new.

Yes but if you pay attention to Shakespear's use of comedy you will notice that it is framed rather then interwoven allowing it to exist without taking away from the current events.

You don't need to nor do I expect you. I have nothing against comedy... I am just getting sick of the saturation of comedy.

I love comedy some of my favorite movies were comedy... It is just that... well... There is too much of it and even things that arn't comedies either are heavily influenced by comedy or include very out of place comedic moments. It is actually starting to hurt the stock...

Though MIND you... my personal theory is that comedy is easier.

Man :( we were going to see this tonight... and then it turned out to be $30 total for the four of us. Stupid expensive movie tickets. We ended up not seeing it because we're saving money for next week's vacation.

$30 for 4 tickets is expensive? What?
Man, it costs me $15 per ticket in every movie theatre within any sane distance.
Anyway, I saw the movie and thought it was great. They did a great job with the characters: Captain America was heroic, Howard Stark was a likable genius, the scientistbro was a total bro, red skull was suitably evil, etc.

Regularly

1) We watch them on netflix for free
2) non-evening showings are usually less but not for this movie
3) we are poor tightwads saving up for a vacation
