I most often use my birthday (Thur Nalish: "The Universe of Forever") or social security number (Angsturloslmo: "The Mythical Dimension") to gen worlds, but I recently decided to use 12212012 as my most recent one, with the end year being 2012 (Dwarven Apocalypse!) So, what do you guys use and why?

My seeds, much like the best parts of the game, are determined randomly.

Really, the only time I use a custom seed is if/when someone posts an interesting world, and I feel like checking it out.

same for me, aside from the fact that i dont even check out interesting worlds.  there is far too much land for me to explore to dismiss my worlds as dull or uninteresting.  i've even come across awesome interesting geography in a world created with basic worldgen.  notably, a basin fed by 6 or so waterfalls on the north side, connected to an underground sea, that deems to drain and flood periodically.
