Hey, thanks for the ideas and everything guys, I put a bit more effort than just white-on-black this time. Personally, I'm not too fond of it since the wording looks more like Halloween, but I did what I thought would stick out just a bit more.




My thoughts (Some of these were just thoughts as I was typing this):
 
1. I changed the word 'Intention' to 'Intervention', and thanks to Dictionary.com, I have a reason for it:

Any interference in the affairs of others, especially by one state in the affairs of another.

What I kinda ran through my mind was my faction having Fun on the forums, trading stuff, etc. while on the Intervention side, we see 2 small factions fighting each other, oh well let's barge right into the conflict and fuck them both up.

2. The orange text should have been a different font, preferebly one that is somewhat the same as the red font, but should also stand out fairly well.

3. The red text should have been maybe 1 size larger.

4. Orange text should have also been a different color other than orange, maybe a custom color?

Very much improved   The font and color change made a big difference.  The motto isn't quite... perfect yet, but you're on the right track.  Intervention doesn't quite fit, but it is much better than intention.  Try some other synonyms, look for words that jump out at you.  Maybe something like "Family of Fun and Meddling" or "Meddling Family of Fun."  Although "meddling" is a little... passive aggressive, so I dunno.  Maybe flames?  Fandango (spanish dance and other things)?  But either way, it's a lot better already

You can ellipses all you like, but the people who look at a banner attempting to be badass with the word 'intervention' are all thinking the same thing.

I see I forgot about this thread, I apologize for that. Anyway, just to prove I didn't just say I was going to do something, here's what I threw together the other day:

With the original catchphrase, though. The reason I redied the motto instead of the title is because I thought it more interesting if the pressure was on them, and a little more threatening. I don't know if I get that through, though.

It seems rather irrelevant now, though, as you didn't really need the help
Anyway, as for colour/fonts, it really depends the most on what kind of feeling you want to transmit. I used the "casual"/familiar/easy (none of these quite expresses what I'm going for, I think, but whatever) because of the "family" theme and because it contrasts nicely with the "murderous".

Also, about colour, if your faction have any colours or something like that, it could be suitable to flaunt them here as well. Not necessarily, though.
