I get dicked over by it in large rooms, where you move faster than your tears. With the right synergies though, yeah, it's amazeballs.

You could just not run around like a chicken with your head cut off, you know. You'd practically have to try to lose a game when you've got Brimstone + Ludovico.

If you get Brimstone + Ludovico + Lost Contact, does it actually synergize properly and give you a huge laser circle that also blocks incoming projectiles?

Because that would be so, so beautiful.

YO I JUST BEAT HUSH MY FIRST TRY

i got brimstone as azazel

...and sad bombs

meanwhile, my first few runs as lilith were: a couple deaths, then died to the Lamb, which is pretty good I think; also tried a few greed mode runs as Lilith, but died to ultra greed because turns out dead cat is kind awful with box of friends due to the whole "no recharge" thing.

Have "some" hype train fuel.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention.

Fuck yes? And by that I mean... fuck yes? I'm a goddamn Lua machine already.

Fought (and beat) the Hush for the first time. He's surprisingly un-tanky, in spite of the scaling, when you have high damage and tech X. It just caused constant damage as it hovered over him.

God, first time I beat him I was Azazel and had brimstone, tammy's head and sad bombs and it still took me forever. Second time I was Isaac with technology and spoon bender though that was irrelevant since I also had big protector, cube of meat and gnawed leaf.

I'm kinda terrified at the possibilities. Talkin' like, Skyrim levels of mod potential for the game.

I think I heard somewhere that taking Brimstone as Azazel actually decreases your damage, in exchange for losing the short range. Might have been on the wiki, but that's hideously out of date in some areas.

It might, but if it does, I never noticed a damage decrease. If anything, it seems like it massively decreased charge time.

Just got my first Mega Satan kill! Also, my first hard mode Mom kill. Also, my first no-hit run of the Womb, the Depths, Sheol and Dark Room.

...it was as the Lost, so getting hit would've killed me anyway.

Actually, that's not true, since I got dead cat early on, but it didn't matter.

Seriously, holy shit the Lost is good. Like, I'd say about as good as Isaac, really. Holy Mantle makes him unbelievably good, getting two hits per room. That plus free devil deal items makes him just ludicrous. That mega satan/the lamb run up there started with gnawed leaf, then I got abaddon and brimstone in the first devil deal and basically went "oh, won run". It was, heh. I got Dad's Key in the room before the Lamb, so convenient. I had tammy's head near the end.

If The Lost's holy mantle persisted through D4 I'd probably actually say he's better than Isaac. D4 is just incredibly good at taking an okay run and instantly making it godlike, and then if you tack on not instadying to that, it's pretty incredible. Sad, but at least reasonable.

The Keeper is also surprisingly pretty good. The damage you get from starting triple shot is absurd. The trick is that you basically need to treat it like a Lost run, except you're going for angel deals.

Am I missing something here? Is the Lost supposed to start with anything?
