I'm sure TP+Brimstone is fine, but I've never gotten that combo. Even if I did I can still see myself getting killed for being unable to control the beam the way I want.

It's very good. It basically makes it an AOE around you on top of the normal brimstone beam.

What a run! Technology, Lump of Coal, and Ludovico combined to make a dark controllable ring of death. Combined with some other things, I got the achievements for defeating both Hush and the Lamb as Isaac.

Huh. I was not expecting the Chaos Card to actually one-shot Hush. I had Tech X and Continuum but that was really all I had going for me that run, Hush would have still been very difficult. Instead, it was probably the most anti-climactic fight I'll have.

Wish I managed that with the Lost instead of Magdalene.

Yeah, if you throw from bottom up it's a one-shot on both phases.

Threw a chaos card, missed the Hush. Killed him the hard way.

Man I completely forgot this was a thing too.

There are not enough hours in a day for all the gaming I need to do, let alone THIS game.

Yeah... proper mod support is going to make this game an even more insane time-sink than it already is.

*Cracks knuckles*

Let's get to it.

Welp, the game was supposed to be out about... 3 to 4 hours ago? Still not out. The BoI subreddit was a shitstorm earlier. Kind of fascinating to watch. gib isek

Apollyon completely breaks the game, given half a chance.  Void can consume one-use items like forget-me-now or diplopia, and you can then use those effects repeatedly without destroying Void.

And yeah, some of the new enemies are... Freaky. Spawners that spawn in more spawners, for example. Yikes.
