I just had a game as Judas where my Book of Belial glitched.  I used it on the second boss and then afterward I looked the same but I still shot blood and I still had crazy damage.

Probably my most successful run, 11th win. It was as Judas, and with all the attack upgrades I got, it was crazy.

Ignoring the bomb, look at that shot. That's a Charged, pentagram(on Judas it increase dmg by 3), contract, a couple damage pills, devil'd shot. I killed both moms in 6 shots. Not to mention the l2 meatboy and Sister Maggy I got.

nenjin's advice
I'd also suggest bombing slot machines. Seems to mostly be worth it. I've found multiple dollars per run like this.

Funny, I was just coming here to post my first win.

I had to cheese my way through it milking the red bones guys Mom spawns with the Vampire thingy. Managed to regain over 8 hearts during the fight doing that. Laser Eye is damn cool, but it can be really inconvenient too. Still, first win, woo. Take that matriarch.

I know. It starts getting to like DBZ levels of silliness with how big your tear 'splosions can be. I'm starting to think there might be some merit in a "Hell" mode for the game. Then again, getting that level of awesome is still pretty random.

So I have a question that is sort've related to this game that I don't feel is big enough to make a new thread about.

Should I get this or Dungeons of Dredmor?

I can obviously only get one, and I'm feeling indecisive.

They're both good games. Go with whichever one looks more fun to you, you'll probably enjoy it.

Personally I'd side with DoD, having sunk more hours of fun into it than I'll ever put into BoI. And this is coming from a guy who peed a little when he heard the phrase "procedurally generated Zelda meets Smash TV". It really comes down to taste though, I'm sure there are people on both sides of the camp willing to say the other game is crap.

I think DoD definitely has more content and can be played for longer stretches of time. This game is charming and kind of gets in your head a little, but it definitely has a limit.

Oddly enough I've sunk more time into Binding of Isaac. It might not have the same amount of content but it has gameplay that really sucks you in.
Very enjoyable, "just one more game" gameplay. If you're into that stuff...
