Not a bad game. There are a few things that irritated me at first but I'm getting over them.

Love smash tv
Great fun, especially co-op. Good luck, you'll need it!

Tres, sounds more like a problem on your end since a lot of the other players haven't experienced much in the way of crashing even with really long games. Why don't you try verifying the integrity of the game cache or something?

E: Oh, yeah, I've started taking player-pictures too.

I'm not a huge fan of the laser eye upgrade. It reduced the spread of my shots to effectively zero.

I imagine so, too, but it's really hard to figure out what exactly is wrong with no error message. I tried verifying integrity of game cache, maybe I should just try redownloading the whole thing.

Managed to kill Mom for the first time last night. It was otherwise my most unlucky run with no keys or bombs for much of the time. Just before the end I got charged shot and a few nice pills.

Edit to add: Just finished it the second time and unlocked all the characters in one fell swoop. That last game was surprisingly easy what with all the full health capsules I kept finding.

To unlock Maggie (or Margie or something) do I have to collect 7 of the blue hearts that act as armor? Or is this a different kind of heart container it requires?

I'm not sure. I thought it was the blue ones but remember the announcement from steam for the achievement popped up when I'd just expanded my red hearts.

Moar Isaacs!

I think I have almost as much fun watching him change as I do actually playing the game.

Fffuuuhhh I got to the 5th floor and was absolutely owned by a group of very fast moving corpse-like enemies. Nenjin, what item gives you those totally cool looking wings in the first Isaac?

You have to talk to the man....downstairs. (It's Lord of the Pit.)

(PS-It's a mixed blessing. Wings are amazing. All the buffs you get are amazing. But it costs you dearly in the health department. Lord of the Pit Isaac is the closest I've gotten to beating Mom....but because I only had 5 hearts going into the fight, it was far harder than it needed to be. I suppose if you're good at these kinds of games, it's not that big of a penalty. I'm not that great.)

Well, the main reason I have problems with this game is because I'm not used to the vast amounts of bullets on screen while having such a large hitbox, but I'm getting better at weaving through them now. I finally took out 4 of those flesh-totem-things without a single scratch.

Poor Isaac. So many deaths...so little closure.

Well, I just beat Mom for the first time. Finally. The reason was that I had hit the jackpot (99 coins) on a slot machine, so I had every single one of the nice upgrades in every shop from that point on. That way, it was easier to avoid the Pit upgrades, so I went into the boss with 5 hearts and 2 blue hearts. I also found all the secret rooms due to a secret room revealing item.

The last boss was fantastic. I couldn't have imagined a better one. Ultimately, it was a close call, but not a huge one (2 1/2 hearts left) because one of my upgrades made all my bombs home in on the boss, and I had like 16 bombs and that one really big bomb as my space item which took off half the boss' health when I used it. I've gotten much better at dodging shots and enemies.

So... now what? I guess if I play again, there's more levels. And harbingers... or something. I unlocked Cain. I still have about 2/3rds of the collection uncompleted. I certainly am going to go for another play-through of this sometime.

I've had a few good runs but I haven't beaten it yet.  I've gotten to Depths 1 and that's it.

So far I've completed the full game three times. Once with Isaac, once with Cain, and with Judas last night. I can't see myself getting all the achievements and especially not: "Mamas Boy - Complete the full game without taking damage".

If anyone might be kind of scared of spending 5$ on a flash game, don't be. It's a really great game I would have gladly spent more on.

Beaten the full game 7 times now, mostly with Cain because lucky foot. You stop unlocking things for beating it after ten, but I know I'll keep playing after that.
