Dwarfy Pets - Because why have a dog when you can have a Badger Mole?

All the creatures work; the Cave Spinner seems to have an issue where it will give silk upon shearing, but no wool. Otherwise, all good.

Some nice ideas here. I'm pretty sure hunting animals are bugged though.

I've seen a utility or two meant to help with making creatures but to be honest I found it easier to just open up notepad++ and the wiki (creature tokens page) and have at it/experiment.

The only creature that gave me pause was the armored olm - to me, olms just shouldn't be associated with plating. They're rubbery and squishy. http://www.google.com/search?q=olm&tbm=isch Besides, sounds an awful lot like the cave crocodile, anyway!

Thanks, dude! I don't know; I think I'll just make them weaker in combat than the War Beasts (Armored Olm/Something Else I Think Up), but maybe have them breed quicker.

True, that was what worried me. I might go for my original idea; the CAVE BADGER! Basically, a Giant Badger...

BUT IN A CAVE!

Remember that badgers are way less frightening when trained, since they don't rage all the time anymore.

How, exactly, is their raging implemented? I can't seem to find mention of it in the RAWs.

Also, another question; I'm thinking about giving them Hunting Bats instead of Mole Hounds, mostly because I want to try to give them some variety. I figure Urist McHuntindorf using a bat like a falcon would be the bee's knees.

Actually I find that they are just as easy to flip out as they are before. However it's based off of a percentage of some sort. Badgers have a relatively low chance of flipping off in the first place.

I suppose this could be rectified by increasing the number? I'll have to do some !!SCIENCE!! to find out.

Anyway, going through with my Hunting Bat idea.

If trained badgers cannot rage, can they still go into martial trances? If you add the [TRANCES] they should hopefully go into the trances, giving them a more civilised alternative to the badger rage.

IT 000 above seems to have indicated they can still rage; regardless, I will have to do some testing. If they don't rage very often, I may either increase the number, or give them trances as well.
