ok just to clairfy then. When our turn is up:

1. We roll 2d6 to gain our power points. If we have less than 5 after the first turn, we add a +1 bonus, up to +3 if we have less than 5 the prior 3 turns.
2. In this age the cost of terraforming is 3pts. And we can change with those 3 points, up to 20 hexes? My questions here are, can we only change one terrain type with a single 3pt cost? Or do we just get to change 20 hexes any way we wish?

I would say it's the latter there aren't 20 hexes of sand. But there are 100 modified tiles.

Alrighty, got a 7 on my rolls. So did 2 terraforms, leaving me with 1 point. and a +1 next turn.

Terraformed some deep ocean a bit away from everyone else. Along with a large kelp forest and coral reef.

I roll a five. I carry over the 2 points from my last turn, and add an extra due to under five point bonus. Leaving me with 8 points.
I spend 6 Shaping Land, and I spend my remaining two changing the climate of the Upper Mountians to much Colder, making them become Snowcapped Mountians.
