Ah. I'm on my gran's PC, so no .net yet. I was meaning to install that. Thanks.
When ever you are missing a dll, it is always .net.  :P

It still didn't help. At all.

The closest I've gotton was renaming MSVCP100d to MSCVP100, and copying MSCVR100d and renaming the copy "MSVCR100", which resulted in a window coming up, the a crash.

Hey all, I'm going to see if I can sort this out before I go to work today.

I think it has to do with releasing the 'release' version with the 'debug' version dll's. Whoops.

The download should be working now. Let me know if it works.

The problem wasn't reproducing on my machine, probably because I have those dll's buried somewhere.

EDIT: nope hold on....

Working for me. Seems fun so far.

One thing which might be a bug or something to look into, on my first game I started with some super cell thing, got lots of power no matter where it was in the light, reproduced quickly, quite big, and had a very very powerful weapon. Obviously it out competed all the other cells and killed then all, but then it went on to reproduce so much it fill the screen completely then the game crashed.

Okay I've static linked everything so it should be working properly. Let me know any continuing problems and I will sort them out as soon as I can.

I have a hard time testing, since we have pretty much two identical computers here, an an ancient laptop that can't run anything requiring accelerated graphics :<

Current Droplet Download

Apologies everyone!

Intended behavior (sort of) except for the crash. Going to be trying to sort out those crashes and the hang when exiting too for the next release, if possible. You could always just nerf them with the editor :)

Did it give you any errors? What OS are you running?

Hmmm I'll see if I can try it out on some XP machines and reproduce the crash.

There appears to be some serious flaws when running on XP. I recommend not running Droplet on XP unless you want to encounter instability.

I'll see if I can begin sorting it out tonight.

Really? I've been running it on my XP comp, and no troubles at all. I've had one problem, but that was when the monitor was turned off via software or when the computer went to sleep. Nothing that bad.

Is there any way we can provide you with the error reports?
