They nerfed magic find as it applies to all containers. Even chests. Not sure if that applies to gold find as well.

Way to go Blizzard. Create a game about farming loot, then nerf the farming of loot.
Supply and demand... keep the supply low and demand rises.  If demand is there, people will buy it from the AH and the prices will go up.

The gold AH economy is weird, on one hand you get uber inflation as money is constantly injected in the system with the only dump being crafting and repairing, and on the other hand you get a massive over supply of gear that keep the inflation in check. I have no idea if prices will go up or down in the future :/

They did it because people were maxing out magic item find and then running to specific resplendent chests and things which weren't terribly hard to get to, then reloading and doing it again and again and even botting the route getting ridiculous amounts of magic items.

Now magic item find only applies to things you kill.

Again, they made a game about loot farming and put Magic Find right up front in some of the very first pieces of gear. Did they not foresee that people would do this exact thing? Did they not see that by making things so ridiculously hard in Inferno and nickel and diming the hell out of the player, that people were going to take the path of least resistance and most lewt? Or that it would take less than a month for people to get bored and start experimenting with the system? In the Reddit talks, they even go on about this exact topic. "Breaking the systems and how we think that's rad."

This is why I regretted the RMAH from the very start; it's dictating decisions like this. Otherwise, who would honestly give a fuck what another person is doing to maximize the rules Blizzard set in place to begin with? And wasn't that the whole POINT of the game in the first place, to max out Magic Find and see how much lewt you could get to drop, so you could go sell it at your second job?

The last spate of reactionary changes has just convinced me further that Blizzard doesn't actually care about their game as an entertainment product. They care about it as the actionable part of an online casino. Christ I never even intended to stack MF/GF seriously, and this still annoys me.

There is no better feeling than spending all your money on a new helmet only to find out that you can't afford to repair your armour. The helmet does look pretty sweet though.

Edit: Oh god I double posted, I didn't mean to do that.

Well, I still keep dying in Inferno Act I with my barbarian. However, now it drops more money but I have to spend all that extra money on repairs for my deaths. Arcane is my enemy. Probably doesn't impact kiters as much as it just totally decimates a barbarian.

Arcane is my most hated one as well(as monk), mostly because it hurts a lot when paired with jailer, frozen, vortex or hoard.

Barb vs Arcane:Try this.

Sword n board setup, pop all 3 cooldowns on champ packs (Use Berserker first, for the damage boost). They should melt.

Life on hit helps. Boon can be switched for Ruthless, Weapon Master, Relentless, Superstition. If you want more sustainable crowd killing but less champ nuke, substitute Revenge/Provoke for Earthquake.

I've seen something similar work well when my friend was on his barb and I had my WD pet tank. He was able to use a 2H and more offensive stuff, but the WD setup for that takes a bit of specific gear to make stable.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Oh, well as long as we are posting loadouts.   :D

Here is what I'm using for my monk with a fair bit of success. I've got a fair number of life-regen over time items as well, to complement the Mantra of healing.

Deadly Reach + Scattered Blows lets me keep a bit of distance and hit multiple enemies at once.  The scattered blows also does a fair bit of damage, so I can often just aim my punches for whoever has the highest life and everything else will kind of die on its own.

Lashing Tail Kick + Sweeping Armada lets me make a bit of space when surrounded.  It also seems to interrupt attacks by a lot of big/slow monsters, so I can use it to avoid being one-shot at times.

Serenity + Peaceful Repose is fantastic.  Not only do I get a heal whenever I'm in trouble, I'm completely invulnerable to everything for 3 seconds.  I often use it to absorb arcane orb beams and big attacks.  It also cancels fear, frozen, and anything else I've been hit by.

Mystic Ally + Earth Ally Summons a pet.  Probably the least-essential part of my build.  Sometimes I exchange it for another defensive skill.

Seven-Sides Strike + Sudden Assault  I love this.  Not only does it do pretty good damage, but it also gives me a teleport and makes me immune to everything while its being used.  My high-health regen works well with this, as it gives me time to build my HP back up a bit.

Mantra of Healing + Time of Need I'm using this to supplement my high health regen.  It also gives me a bunch of extra resist-all, which is nice.

Passives:

Resolve  I'm using this mostly to help against elites, but I'm not 100% convinced that this is great.  If I decide to replace a passive, it'll likely be this one.

Seize the Initiative  Adds my Dexterity to my Armor.  That is just great.

One with everything  Allows me to double stack resistances.  Most of my armor has All-res + Phs-Res, which gives me quite a high resistance value.  For a while I was sporting over 1000 resist all, but I've reduced that a bit to go for other stats.
