((Dwarmin thats a shit storm waiting to happen since it going to make me, adn the reapers appear to kill you, or to stop you from with holding death that is my domain.))

((Naturally. Death will forever be the enemy of life, and it's the right of every person to resist it. Will your reapers attack men who invent life saving medicine? Better crops to slow starvation? I'd like to know.

Don't misunderstand my intention-I'm not promising eternal life and youth. Her true followers will understand when they have reached the pinnacle of their passion, to continue would be to cheapen that experience. Empathica prefers her followers to burn out rather than rust, if you know what that means.

@Edit: She merely prefers people to not die with unsatisfied minds.

Also, your talk of Power is tiresome. Must Death rely on cheap tricks to entice the weak minded? You should try to convince people to join your religion on the merits of maintaining the balance of life and death itself. :P

))

Dwarmin, I see your people starving to death if you ever manage to gain full control of a town.

Dwarmin, I see your people starving to death if you ever manage to gain full control of a town.

((How so? Just because they don't work just for the sake of working, doesn't mean they starve. It just means they devote more of their free time to merry making, instead of hoarding wealth and power. They obviously balance their personal lives and Religious Beliefs, like everyone else...

Don't know why you feel the need to pick on me, though. Do I get penalized for putting in slightly more effort into my character?  ???  ))

Sorry it was a joke.  Wait I pick on you?  Dude I've rolled for every event, location, and success so far.  If you get a bad roll then you get bad results.

((Well than, sorry for getting defensive over nothing. I've put a lot of thought into this.))

I would like to make a god, if that's alright.

Name: The Sent
Appearance: A gray-skinned, lanky twelve-foot-tall humanoid, bearing a stone eye in its chest and no face or defining features on its head. When it speaks, its voice emanates from the hollow pupil of the eye.
Gender: None; appears masculine, but is always referred to as 'it' or The Sent.

I won't be able to do anything for two to three days, though. Anyone can interact with the body of The Sent in the meantime, though - it falls from the sky in the middle of nowhere in particular (i.e. you decide).

Dr.Ward looked at the prisoners locked up in cells in his basement and knew that before dawn they will be fully loyal to Ctulhu. The moon will soon reach it's apex.

1.Prisoners will be transformed into monsters with snake tails as legs and a half decayed body of a human. They shall have long claws, perfect for killing and bat wings in their backs. They can transform from their human form to their monster form at will. The transformation is painful.

2.Send 5 transformed followers(the prisoners who also act as soldiers if needed) to the fishing village of Innsmouth to gather followers, starting from the fishermen. If needed drive them mad.

3. Rest of the former prisoners will escort Ward to the mines outside the city so that they could gain followers there.

4.Give Ward the power to drive people mad with his stare.

My followers don't have to be sane.

God DAMN I love this game!

Now that's a good way to save essence ;)

Also zaerosz sorry but I really don't think I can take another person at the moment, though I'll put you on a waiting list encase someone dies or can not play anymore
((Yes you can die, if you lose the prophet and all followers to will be sucked back into the aether and only another very powerful god could drag you back.))

((Lol, not what I had in mind whatever works I suppose. What of the shrine I ordered built? Shouldn't I have received 1 Divine essence from my followers?)

While everything did no go exactly as planned the results were as desired and as such our now "Untouchable" chosen had done well to bring more people to the cause. Now we had to make the people both love and fear us to hopefully bring more of them to the cause.

Followers continue building shrine. Make manna rain from the heavens to feed the town and hopefully earn their worship. Teach Karan the ways of the sorcerer so that he can do his own magic as well. Have Karan continue preaching the word of my greatness in a attempt to convert more people to worshipping me. Also have him tell them about the the eternal utopian paradise afterlife who awaits those who serve me, as well as the eternal, lonely wandering through a icy, abyssal wasteland while being flayed alive by biting ice crystals carried by the howling winds awaiting those who do not serve me.

wait I thought I had put in a shrine, oh and for the essence, no if you use essence the gain that turn gets added to the cost of what you did, so if you had no followers that action would have cost 1 more essence.  Same thing can happen when you are gaining a lot of essence, the cost can be less then the gain so you just gain less that turn.

Oh ya no the shrine building failed epically (I think you rolled 3/100) but I didn't feel like killing all the construction workers on turn one.

I take it you are just lying about the after-world.  Also if the magic-transfer succeeds well then yes.  You kept a decent amount of essence, and pure magic is a lot easier to do simply because it doesn't take actually *creating* anything.

Anything is possible if you believe!  :P But yes, I might have lied a little bit, I'm not actually gonna create a afterworld yet, need the essence for more important things.
