Init file questions

What exactly does turning off INVADERS get rid of? Gob sieges only? Snatchers? Thieves? "Migrating" wildlife?

It stops civs/megabeasts from scheduling attacks.  It also stops thieving wildlife from coming in from the edges, though they can still start in your loaded area.  It also stops beasts in cave features from becoming aggravated (unless you start it).  Of course, any of these might be broken, but that's what the code says on the surface.
