From what I saw, he had to use info from 6 (7 now) days previous.
Thing is, hurricanes and such apparently struck where the main box was kept, and he can't get in touch with the guy. By the time things are back up, most people will probably be above and beyond where they were. Just roll with it.

You've lost less than a day's worth of xp, you aren't behind the eightball, you're in a boiling cauldron of mansauce and rage. There are always going to be players who sperg more than you and will get further ahead of you.

Yeah, 5k seems like a lot, but honestly? Stow your gear, go exploring. If you haven't done much of that, then a few k in an hour or so won't be hard at all. Then go back to doing your thing.

Most players can garner up to 10-15k xp a day

So yeah its fuck all, unless you are already p.much end game level and if you were, xp is totally not worrisome since you are already tough as nails.

If I wasn't lazy as hell and busy with RL on top of it, I could gain about 180k xp in a week.  It's not that hard, just tedious.

Advice for the ages.

Golds are fairly easy anyway. Idling in general is bad; best to log if you're going to sit in your apartment.
