So in a couple days I'm performing a song at one of the poetry readings I like to attend. Except, I'm not entirely convinced I'm a good enough singer to warrant a public performance since I've only been singing for about six months. I could really use some feedback on it before I go and make an ass out of myself in front of 50 people.

Hey, fqllve, long time no see. This somehow managed to pass under my radar, not that it's too hard to do these days, but anyway - the singing is pretty good. Maybe not so exceptional as to make me run to the nearest store and buy your CD, but definitelly enjoyable, even on my crappy loudspeakers. I imagine it being even better live, and I'm pretty sure those people that would get to listen to your singing would have a pleasant time.

Anyhow, it's probably already over, so do tell us how it went.

But yes, its already over. It went well, mostly people told me how they liked my voice. It was a complete success, though, in that it's given me the confidence to start playing places once I've built up my repertoire.

Thank you all for your feedback. I probably wouldn't have gone through with it otherwise.
