So it occurs to me that a lot of people have interesting dreams, and I'm interested in hearing more about them, so this is the place to share and discuss your dreams (note: the things you see and hear when asleep, not your aspirations).
To start things up here's a couple. A long while back I had a dream where I was wandering around this odd infinite bridge. It was a series of massive stone pillars at regular intervals with a jumble of wooden walkways, rope bridges, suspended with rope and wood bridging between the pillars, there was thick mist all over the place, so I couldn't see more than 70 or 80 feet in any direction. I was trying to cross the bridge making my way through the labyrinth of walkways. After a while of moving through the bridge, it started to gradually fall apart, ropes started snapping, wood started falling off of the pillars, and breaking apart. It happened in little bits, until there were very few walkways left, and I had to start making jumps to keep going. Then eventually I found myself trapped on a little platform suspended by ropes, with the way behind and forward having fallen apart. Then before my eyes the rest of the wooden walkways fell apart, and it was just me stuck on this platform, then the ropes began to snap, and the entire thing swung up against a pillar, and I grabbed onto the side, then the stone pillars started breaking, and the tops of them snapped off and fell onto each other like dominos. After that I climbed up onto the top of the pillars and walked over the fallen stone pillars, after doing that for a while they started to crumble and break apart, then I fell. And I fell for a long time before waking up, and when I woke up, I stared at the ceiling for a long while still thinking I was falling.
Another dream I had just last night was where I was thinking about all kinds of things as I went to sleep, and then I started imagining a forest with animals in it in the style of "The Secret of Kells", and I was a wolf walking around this 2d forest. Then I said something sad, and wolf me trotted off into the backdrop. I fel really sad at that, and distressed. The funny thing is that I knew it was a dream, and that it wasn't real, but I still felt sad that wolf me had walked off. I don't remember anything else of the dream.
Your turn!
