Still, that takes care of Britons. They're stuck on their crappy island now. We'll get there eventually. But first : Carthage is down to one city, let's make them get down to zero. Wiping out Carthage is victory #1 condition.

Our army is landing in the beehive. Hello, Capua.
Our forces are quite battered, but They'll be enough.
Silly Scipii send their forces and.. Hmm.. I had hoped for the full stack. But we'll get there in a sec.
With numeric advantage as big as ours, we can form a double line, and still have wider force, allowing very easy flank attacks.
Obvious victory is obvious. We want Scipii wiped out, so that Julii or Brutii can take Capua, and pose a greater threat later on.
Now, this is what i'm talking about. Although i'd rather have them use both their armies at once. Senate could join the fun too. Hopefully we'll manage to get such a battle later in the campaign. And if not... Custom battle will give us what we want.
We have a slight cavalry advantage.
Their infantry is of much higher defensive quality.
They have much higher ranged power (5 velites + all their legions can throw javelins)
We have much, much, MUCH higher shock power (naked fanatics + charge + warcry)
Let's see the battlefield now..
From their point of view, it will look like this.
It's quite obvious, that the left side has a nice, comfy hill.
We position ourselves there. I disable skirmishing for my ranged units. Place skirmishers behind non-naked fanatics. Slingers on spread out, stretched to be able to shot everyone. I group them too, for easier fire control.
I group the fanatics too, for easier warcry access. I've placed infantry in an AA B A B AA B A formation. A being naked fanatics. Doubled the amount at the left flank, and in the middle. The right flank has cav on it.
Spanish mercs in the very middle, because they too have javelin attack.
The idea is for the "B"'s to take a beating, and engage enemies, so that our "A"s will have an easier time flanking the roman fools.
This is, however, a failsafe scenario. It's very likely that such maneuvering won't even be needed. With our high ground superiority, a warcry charge of the fanatics, coupled with ranged volley, it may be enough to break these enemies. They are no urbans.
Start ze battle.
I immediately shift the view to enemy army, looking for weak points. I see one right away. Velites + secondary general on flank.
I move the cavalry onward. Have a look at our army from a side angle, viewer!
Since the enemy army is still far away, i can safely leave our main army unwatched for now, and focus on the cav.
As you can see, these are indeed velites.
There is a problem though. Two heavy infantry groups ready to bash our skulls in. One opportunity is wasted, but another one opens. Their secondary general. Go.
Charging heavy infantry should be reserved for truly elite cav units, and on high difficulties -> only when the enemy morale is low, and / or you have a significant advantage and charge bonus.
At any rate.. The enemy general was a fool.
Their velites are exposed again, if we're fast enough, we can take them out as well. Keep the hand on the "RUN THE FUCK AWAY" button though.
We take the velites out.
We retreat afterwards though, this is not another cavalry special. Just a short "You CAN do that"
Some targets are unbreakable though, like their main general surrounded by truckloads of heavy infantry.
