Aye, that it would. What exactly does it do, again?

It make the labor required to build stone structures dramatically less.

Cool. We can have an awesome stone temple up in no time. And furnish it nicely on the inside with our amazing powers of carpentry, of course. :D

Heck, I'm quite near the east coast myself.

Not on it, but maybe... a few hours away by car?

Meh, I'm too far south to be affected anyways, since it's moving north.

Wait, hasn't it made landfall? I saw on some Hurricane Tracker that it made landfall this morning...

I was looking at the hurricane site, and it should be over for NJ after Sunday night. It goes from rain, 50% Sunday night to just sunny.

Votes:
start temple
provide escorts for shepherds

Colonists work the 27 farms and produce 147 food.

4 fishermen with spears work the fish traps and produce 11 food.

The ship goes out with 8 sailors and 4 fishermen and 15 colonists to fish the deep site with the 5 nets and 6 spears and produce 55 food.

30 miners harvest stone in support of the temple construction, producing a record 172 stone.

9 woodcutters produce 27 wood.

14 carpenters, 10 masons and 2 acolytes begin work on constructing a temple underneath the quarry with the aid of Thamos, Setos and Runihura. The material set in place for construction is 26 wood and 33 stone.

5 metalsmiths work to produce metal armor and shields, producing 4 of each.

3 shepherds herd sheep.

A major patrol is prepared for the grazing lands to protect your shepherds. It consists of 5 scouts and all 15 archers while the remaining guards defend the camps.

The thunder gods make their move, for the first time you confront them directly. It does not go well. The pair are fast, tough, powerful and work together, using their speed to circle and distract their prey. They tough feathery hide shrugs off most of the arrows that strike them, the female takes an arrow to the left eye and enough damage to her left leg to slow her down. The male takes enough damage that blood can seen staining the feathers of its abdomen, this appears to only make it angry. The female mauls one archer to death and eats 4 sheep. The male eats 2 sheep, kills 3 arches, 1 scout and severely wounds 3 more archers. Your troops end up retreating with 4 ruined armor and 3 broken bows in addition to the lost soldiers.
