Well, most of the original group seems to have dropped out, I wasn't sure if I was going to continue. But with some renewed interest, I will. Everyone is welcome to play. I'll get the map that i have neglected from the last month up on my lunch break, and you new guys feel free to make suggestions. If you want to have a "captain" in the game as your avatar, they can be introduced rather quickly as the next contact with the homeland will happen soon.

Right on. So, as I was saying, we need a springtime celebration to raise our dangerously low morale. When that's taken care of, I'll take two guards with me to investigate the boneyard our scouts stumbled across.

Take 5 miners with me and prospect in the mountains near the quarry site.

Ask Captain Setos to examine the place we found that was littered with bones.

As the month comes to a close, the chill in the air lifts and  the frost and snow begins to melt. Spring has come early this year.

After the end of your first winter in the archipelago, the weather turns warm and the frost melts. Spring floods were strong enough to destroy 1 farm.

36 colonists return to work the remaining farms, producing a large crop of 129 food.

8 fishermen continue to fish, 4 at the traps and 4 in a canoe, producing a fair haul of 30 food.

10 carpenters continue to work on the docks.

15 miners work the quarry and 15 miners work the stone mine producing 46 stone, 18 copper ore and 2 tin ore.

9 woodcutters cut wood, producing 34 wood.

The changing season also heralds the arrival of your fellow countrymen. This time they made their way safely. True to their word, the captains from the previous year have returned with something special. They have brought a magic artifact, an earth staff, that when used and prayed over can dramatically reduce the time needed to build stone structures. In addition they have brought a flock of sheep, several horses as well as armor and shields and a number of colonists. With the dock unfinished, the ship had to beach themselves, in the process one of the ships was damaged beyond repair and its crew must stay behind.

Setos leads the people in a celebration of spring, allowing them to regain some of their flagging morale after a hungry winter. Afterwords he set off to investigate the killing fields. He hears in the distance what sounds like thunder coming from a clear sky across the channel. And then rising over the hills across the channel he sees the Sobek god of thunder.

Take a few men and repair the ruined farm that was lost. We need all the food we can get.

I thought you had explored the mountains before? I any case the there isn't much to find, rocks of various standard types, some shrubs, no particularly precious gems or metals, the only places to explore are the new swampy area, in the cave that is the source of your stream (that is difficult because it is flooded), and off the edges of the explored areas.

Anyone at all can offer suggestions.
