I want a tiger!  A big steel one with adanamanantine claws and teefs and it should have stripes and it could be my friend and I would name it Beucephalas!  Daddy says that you think superawesomegroovycool stuff like that is an abernation and I better be quiet unless I want another chunk of microline in my sock.  Pleeeese!?


*ahem* Yes.  So.
My latest whimsy says I should be able to make robot golems in a custom shop using BOULDER or BAR and barrels of blood to produce loyal mindless pets.  Which I will of course assign to the stupid children who want to go outside to see 'Santa'.  Has this been done before?  Is it even possible?

You can't make creatures other than pseudo-vermin in workshops.

With the new interactions you might be able to produce instantly boiling boulders, in workshops, with syndromes that turn dwarves into steel tigers.

And then somone will have to make the Anvil of the Void in DF (replacing lyrium with fun blue stuff), otherwise it wouldn't be as dwarfy.
