Well, now that I've got BM XXXI tied up, I can test out my flavor writing prowess.  I'm hoping to start a series of vanilla mafia (or semi-complex ones) after that with a common theme, so feedback on my flavor and modding would be appreciated.

I'll note my interest in joining or substituting into a game. I noticed that Darvi's Bay 12 Mafia 2,71828 is advertising the need for a replacement, but I haven't been through boot camp yet. OTOH, I have read a bunch of old and current games (including the last few BMs and the abovementioned) so I should be able to not be a complete embarrassment should I be permitted to join.

The reason we make people go through Beginner's Mafias is because if their first game is with a bunch of experienced players they get eaten alive. You don't really get a sense of what playing a game is like just by reading through one.

Ultimately it's up to the mod if he lets you in or not.

I get why BMs are done, and I'd be cool with waiting for the next one of those. But yeah, I do think I can hack it, or I wouldn't have asked.

You could go in as a replacement in the current BM if anyone asks for it.

Though, anyone who does will have a lot of reading to do.
