hmmm we should sooner or later by a spacestation to launder any money we get and to store our extra stuff lets see a high end fighter cost around 8000 so by my mind a frieghter would cost 20000 a frigate 30000 crusier 40-50000 and a spacestation 70-80000 atleast and im talking about cheap to make low grade ships not like the ones we got

Well, seing as how your estimates are based off of a haggled down crap fighter, I think a more correct estimate of a spacestation, including materials and cost to build, would more be around several billion, that's 9 0's, and furthermore, the 3rd most wanted criminal in the system would find it fairly hard to build such a space-station completely unnoticed and would have both sides of the war coming over to see what the hell is being built.

Or going for a used or at least already built militarian-style space station, I highly doubt it, mainly for the aformentioned status as third most wanted. And that any self-respecting government wouldn't sell anything that could be in the least used as a secure outpost... especially in the time of war.

The point of a human hand is... the ships are made for things with human hands. We're not making our own ships, so they are what normal people use. Huge tree hand won't help when the controls are made for regular hands.

No, that's the entire point. It's BETTER* at handling controls made for human hands, and it can also handle controls made for kobolds, slime girls, 6 handed bug things, etc. Also, it's shouldn't be much bigger than our normal arm when folded up.

* faster reflexes, easier to reach, can hold all controls simultaneously, can be programmed with learn** high-level behaviours for automatically doing complex things, etc.

**since we're not programmers, we should get some AI software that learns macros based on what we do I think.

im talking about like small small ten room space staions or something like the ISS some cheap out of the way or we can steal one we are pirates and we need new clothes we stand out to much we need something in fansion so no one will compared us to our wanted photos

And we're hated by more people for being a mutant freak. If it's biological, it shouldn't fold. Can it support weight? Can we use it to hold a rifle and swing a sword?
All of the aliens seem to have ships suited for human hands. Plus, we're used to our human arm, and we're a pro with it. Something with 100's of tendrils might be hard to control, especially wrapping everyone around your weapon, or controls.

Not being a mutant freak is exactly why we should go for somehting purely mechanical. Unless someone is willing to call evryone with a pacemaker or a peg leg a freak, they can't really say anything about a peg-arm that happens to have a bit of electronics in it. If we start messing with gene splicing or stuff like that on the other hand they might actually be justified in calling us not entirely human, as we will literally have genes from different species flowing through our veins.

And of coarse it can support weight and handle weapons and swing swords. It can probably hold 5 guns and swing two swords simultaneously.

With all of the crazy ideas the mechanical arm guys are throwing around, I am now leaning towards just getting a normal biological one.

I would prefer the mechanical arm, but seriously, keep it practical. I will change my vote back to mechanical if we can all agree on something simple, not an arm with hundreds of tendrils, or a mini rocket launcher.

I think it's mostly a normal mechanical arm. And if they don't have a normal one, get a biological arm. I'm ignoring Stabby cause of his poor English and lack of a clear point.
