No, we need our own fleet. Hundreds of ships under our command. Strongest fleet in the star system. But some cooperation with kobolds may be very useful

I quite like the whole "Build your own government from scratch, call it a rebellion, but really you're just bored."

So far we're going for a sort of "Everyone is accepted." kind of deal, like america was supposed to be... Only with space pirates instead of religious outcasts... and specesism, instead if religious zealousosityism... Zeal, such an odd word...

I think we should get some more of the visectoids first since most of our combat will be in space robbing other ships.

And some kobold hackers, to take over the ships.

An idea springs to mind. "Engage stealth generators. Donnobaba, come with me to sweep this ship for bugs."

You begin to search the bridge and within 5 minutes you find a small recording box taped under the captains chair. "Ah." You say picking up the box and holding it close to your face. "I love you too Hermes you son of a bitch." you yell before plugging the bug with your pistol.

Donnobaba smirks. "It didn't have a transmitter. Whoever put that there must have been hoping we'd come back so he could collect it."

"I think Hermes put that their for his own benefit, not on the behalf of the Sons of Zeus." you declare. "We have a less than pleasant history together. I'm sure it's just personal." You pause for a second and turn back to Donnobaba "Why don't you copy the data on that disc onto something else and crack the copy."

The white Kobold nods. "I don't think there are any spare discs on board, and I don't want to risk my computer, so I'll just use the mainframe on one of the prototype stealth craft. I'll have your data in a couple minutes."

The hacker runs off towards the docking bay to use a stealth craft. You follow, to check in on Amethyst. You find the purple slime girl sitting with a stealth generator in her lap and looking at the tiger shark.

"That dosn't look like work to me." you comment.

"I'm thinking. This stealth generator is a bit smaller than the one your heavy fighter used to have. It wont be a good fit. I need to think of a way to secure it in place so it wont get blown off by a gentle solar breeze."

She pulls out her PC and flips a couple virtual pages. "I could try to weld together a support structure out of spare parts, but I don't have proper tools and I'd have to use my less than stable magical talents. I'm sure I'll come up with an idea that is less likely to literally explode in our faces in time though."

You pause to absorb the information and put together a response but you are quickly interrupted by Donnobaba. "I'm in! Lets see what this is exactly..." The hacker falls silent for about 30 seconds while you and Amethyst gather around the stealth craft to wait for the revealation. "Damn. Lots of medical and biological jargon. All I can understand is that the spreadsheets contains the results of some experiments performed in secret by the Sons of Zeus at a hospital in the Titan Pit neighborhood."

"I could try to decipher it. I'm sure I have a glossery of medical Jargon saved somewhere on my PC." Amethyst says eagerly. "Of course it would take me some time and I already have a project. If I were you I'd by some research assistant software and upload it to Athena and let her take a look. You should be able to purchase that kind of stuff on Outpost."

"I'll consider both those options." You respond. "Athena, request permission to land somewhere near the delivery zone. I'm going to drop this disc off now that we have a copy."

30 minutes later you enter the Bleak Future Germ Warfare Lab and ring the bell on the desk. The receptionist greets you and takes the disc before heading to the back and bringing out a breifcase full of credits.

"I got a call from Hades." The receptionist explains. "He says to give you his cut of the payment as well as your standard delivery fee. This contains 3 million credits. Don't spend it all in one place, unless you want to spend it here!"

You take the briefcase and nod. You know of several labs on outpost that could get you a new arm, and you are pretty sure 3 million will leave enough to buy some of the highly priced latest generation technology pedaled on outpost. You should also consider paying your crew and looking for another job. Time to explore Outpost!

Head over to Augment++, see what all they can fit into the size of a regular human arm of our size

Priority 1 is getting our arm count back up to at least 2... though more than that would be a little excessive, but hell, this is Bay12.

Yes, I agree head to Augment++ for a new arm. Pay your crew, toss them a little extra as well, good will and such. Find a new job, after that lets go look for that medical software. Lastly, lets get some upgrades for the Tettix, I still vote for some kind of turrets.

I also recommend we buy some drones to use as decoys when we go to steal a ship, or get in a space dog fight

go to Augmentation++ and get a arm. Again, i strongly suggest getting a "tree-shaped" hand, with hundreds of fingers that can spread over a large area and handle huge amounts of simultaneous things. Sure it'll take a while to learn but it'll be worth it.

Also, just to set things straight, are the slime girls in this Slime Girls, with prejudices about them being good at a certain very old profession and such?

As for ship armaments I vote: All angles covered with lasers for soft targets and point defence, two large railgun/plasma (depending on the flavour of the setting) on each side to cover most angles, torpedo bays facing back and front, and a large swarm of very small autonomous drones.

I disagree with the arm. Get a new arm at the medical facility, then go to the gene splicing place.
