I didn't have a chance to get them off the river before it melted. Also, it started pouring like cats and dogs IRL the instant the river melted O_o

No drizzle beforehand, just started pouring out there.

"Behold!  We have invented flight!"
"Uh, no we didn't."
"Oh, right... shit..."

How'd you get a river that big, and are you going to reclaim with 7 skilled swimmers?

It's got to be a major river nearer the outlet to the sea than one would normally desire to build...

Also, why don't you guys join the servers as often anymore? We need your brains. For their architectural genius, of course. >_>

I got distracted by the steam summer sale.  Spent like $50 on $150 worth of games.  I think I have a fetish for saving money...

So worth it, though, innit?

16 games total (15 games + 1 expansion pack) for a tad over $50.  That's like, what, less than $4 a piece?  Good games too!  Mount and Blade (all three), AudioSurf, SpaceChem...

The server tonight is practically a party for new players.
Nevermind, they all left me. :'(

Anyway we've derailed yet another topic with our shenanigans.

On topic; I have embarked on major rivers like that and had them thaw under my dorfs a couple times. But, the search for DF's most amazing waterfall/waterways is an eternal one.

It was your fault. Not worldgen, not RNG, not the dwarves, you. Yes, YOU! YOU ARE DEAD!
