Bogeyman home invasion - is it a bug?
« on: July 11, 2011, 12:49:52 am »

I noticed, while fleeing a crowd of bogeymen at night with a high-agility adventurer, that bogeymen will go inside houses and attack the sleeping humans if they can see them. If YOU go in a house, all of the bogeymen instantly disappear. In my case, a dumb human was sleeping in the doorway, propping it open, and I ran in a circle around the house rather than going inside. This does lead to lots of dead humans in the house. Should this be a bug?

well what do you think is the bug?
the fact that bogeymen can go in side or the fact that they die only when you go inside?
I see this as another feature not talk about in the game.

the fact that bogeymen can go in side or the fact that they die only when you go inside?

Actually, you can kill the bogeymen without going inside.

if you mean, applying steel battle axe into their heads, thats nothing new.

and about the real topic, I always thought bogeymen slept... or spent their times, in closets and under the beds? so its not that big bug imo :P

I know that, but I'm not sure about Rumrusher, that's why I clarified it.

Interesting I suppose. Probably not worth fixing, particularly considering the other problems facing adventure mode at the moment. Leads to somewhat hilarity anyway :P

For a second there I was worried that they had found a way to attack you when you're inside someone's house, but it's just NPC slaughter, so it's okay.

Thank you for the info sirs, I will take it upon myself to prop open every door in a town and run circles around the houses until populations are wiped.
