You can use part of a stack without a special action...

Use two I-Beams to restore the car frame to remove rust and restore to good shape.

Yes indeed. This is the last cycle before some major rules change. One being the separation of stacks without using a disassemble action.

... The math says that totals up to 32.25 influence total gain for a 65 influence item.

That's a 33 (with rounding) influence loss to me.

Just from me saying that, you know how much influence (Out of your considerable reserves, from my point of view) I would like added, then it's a deal.

(Considering I have only 50 influence, I think I should be allowed to be a little scroogy.  :P)

Picking 3 Vials out of a stack of 12 had better be a pass on anything except a natural 1. "Congratulations you critically fail at picking up an object and moving it somewhere else!"

Would you like to see it melted down? Or otherwise irretrievable? I have uses for stuff like this. But distilled pain would make a very nice mortar shell as well.

(Anti-tank flechette shell that turns anyone hit into a zombie, anyone?)

The vials and 50 influence. Final offer.

There is still a bit of a deal here for you, that's at least a couple of influence shaved off the price of buying it from storage.
And do you really need THAT much pain?

I like my price better... How about we ask Haika to roll for our haggling? I win you get the 3 Vials and 40, you roll higher 3 vials and 50. I neither want to back down nor start a huge fight over 10 influence, so I think this would be a good way to settle it.
