This is almost so perfect!
« on: July 09, 2011, 02:15:21 pm »

My first artifact in this embark is a throne with an image depicting one of my civ's queen's ascention to power, It's perfect for a throne room once my monarch shows up.

The only problem is that it's made of rock salt...

It's only 3,600.

I think it's actually the least expensive artifact I've ever made.

You know, it should. Assuming it is an edible type of salt. Salt used to be worth it's weight in gold.

The hardcoded salt material (used for forgotten beasts and such) is worth its volume in silver, having a material value of 10. Oddly, this has been true since 40d, even when nothing could have possibly been made of salt back then.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
